What Vouchrs Verified means
The mark on an offer means we checked it recently. This is exactly what we check.
- The brand still lists the offer as live
- The brand is online and the offer's page opens
- It has started and has not ended
- It does not end in the next few hours
- No shopper has told us it failed in the last 3 days
The check has to be from the last 6 hours, so the mark comes and goes by itself: an offer we have not been able to confirm in a while loses it until the next check, an offer that ends within the next few hours loses it, and one shopper telling us an offer failed is enough to take it off until someone says it worked again (2 reports in a week keep it off for that week). These are automated checks, repeated every couple of hours. We can't try a code at the brand's checkout, so if one fails, tell us.
The Deal Score
Our opinion of how strong this offer is, from 0 to 100, based on what the brand states.
- The size of the saving, with a minimum spend or an “up to” counted honestly
- How easy it is to use: code or no code, sitewide or selected items, who can use it
- Extras the brand states, like free shipping or a gift
- Whether it passed our Vouchrs Verified checks in the last few hours
- How the saving compares with other live offers in the same category and at the same brand
Every offer page lists the reasons behind its score, point by point. The bands are excellent (80+), great (65+), good (50+), fair (35+), modest (0+). An offer that does not state a saving is not scored.
Brands never pay for a score, and the commission we might earn plays no part in it. Once in a while our team adjusts a score by hand, for example after trying an offer; the offer page then says so and shows the computed score next to it. It is not a price comparison and not a promise: we don't see prices or your basket. Brands' terms decide what you actually pay.
